BL8-355Q OEM Laser Head

The BL8-355Q OEM laser system is an advanced diode pumped solid state Q-switched laser system designed specifically for OEM applications. The output characteristics have been optimized for high performance, delivering excellent mode, long term stability, and long lifetime. The laser head is pumped by a 20 W FCbar™ diode module. This unique and patented pump source is field replaceable, without optical re-alignment of the laser head. The FCbar™  diode module is mounted in a J-Series rack mounted power supply. The J-Series and T-Series power supplies are complete packages, including thermal management.

Originally designed as the next generation laser for stereolithography, the BL8-355Q OEM system is field proven with hundreds of units in operations today. The BL8-355Q OEM laser  system is an ideal source for applications requiring long life and exceptional mode quality in the UV wavelength range.

Modified warranties for OEM customers are available.

T-Series Power Supplies

The T-series power supply is a complete power supply/thermal management system for all FCbar laser systems. It is designed for high reliability and low maintenance industrial OEM applications. Thermal management is accomplished by means of a closed loop chiller, where the FCbar module(s) is mounted directly on a cold plate, and is "warmed" to its operating temperature by means of a resistive heater. There is no water in the T-Series power supply.

The T-Series controller is microprocessor based. It automatically controls the FCbar module, and can also operate most laser heads in a "constant power" mode. Status and operating parameters are available to the host system.

The Primary interface to the T-Series supply is through a RS-232 port. A TTL/ Analog interface is available on most systems.

This does not apply to devices damaged due to operating conditions outside of the specified operating parameters.
